AA Zaura Foundation, a community/social impact development, and empowerment, privately funded Not for Profit Foundation committed to improving the quality of life of Nigerians in different areas, especially by supporting health and education interventions implementations, empowering Women and Youths through grants and skill acquisitions and ensuring Nigeria access to good life for people living in the rural areas.
The Foundation was Founded by His Excellency, Abdussalam Abdulkarim Zaura (A. A. Zaura), who has worked tirelessly with other stake holders, investing personal resources and time to ensure the actualization of its vision. The Foundation is based in Abuja, Nigeria with state office in Kano.
The goal of A A Foundation is that everyone lives in a society where discrimination, fear and hatred is eliminated from among the people at every level.

Empowerment and End Hunger Initiative
The Empowerment and End Hunger Initiative by AA Zuara Foundation stands as a beacon of hope and support within the heart of Kano through its impactful radio program hosted on Love FM Kano. This innovative initiative has successfully married the power of communication with the pressing need to alleviate hunger and empower the local community.
At the core of this initiative is a radio program that encourages active participation from the community. Listeners are invited to call in, engage with the program, and answer a thought-provoking question. The reward for their participation is not only the satisfaction of contributing to the conversation but also the chance to win essential provisions such as a bag of rice, cooking oil, and other vital supplies.
This project, marked by its consistent dedication to the welfare of the community, has been an ongoing endeavor, creating a positive impact on the lives of the people of Kano. The simplicity and inclusivity of the initiative are evident in the open call-in format, fostering a sense of community engagement and shared responsibility.
By leveraging the accessibility and reach of radio, AA Zuara Foundation has successfully turned a medium of communication into a catalyst for positive change. Empowerment and Access to Basic Education through Mobility Initiative
The Empowerment and Access to Basic Education through Mobility Initiative is a cornerstone project undertaken by the AA Zuara Foundation in Kano. This initiative, a testament to our commitment to education and empowerment, involves the distribution of over 200 bicycles to students. The primary aim is to enhance access to basic education by providing a means of transportation that can significantly reduce the barriers students face in reaching their schools.
The mechanism for collection and distribution is both straightforward and inclusive. Through our radio program, students are encouraged to call in and participate by answering a question. The reward for their active engagement is not only the joy of winning but the practical and transformative gift of a bicycle. This method ensures that the distribution is not only a charitable act but a participatory and community-driven process, aligning with our belief in the power of collective efforts to bring about positive change.
We Refurbished 500 hand pump and motorized Boreholes
In 2022, AA Zaura Foundation had sponsored total repair of 500 hand pump and Motorized Solar powered Borehole across the 44 Local Government of the State.
The Founder and the President of the foundation; His Excellency Abdussalam Abdulkarim Zaura said the idea is to make the abandoned boreholes to become serviceable and bring succor to people in the communities the boreholes are.
Inauguration of N200m scholarship to 10,000 students
Disbursement of N200,000 scholarship to about 10,000 beneficiaries in Kano state was inaugurated by the A A Zaura Foundation and has drastically improve the drive and zealousness towards education in Kano State.
A.A Zaura Foundation Donates Sanitizers, Face Masks to Journalists
In a bid to support Journalists who are on the frontline, especially in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, the founder, A.A Zaura Foundation, Abdulsalam Abdulkarim Zaura, paid a solidarity visit to the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council.
Zaura who also distributed hand sanitizers and face masks to the journalists, saluted the courage and sagacity of frontline workers who are trying to save lives and individuals who are playing strategic roles in ensuring the pandemic does not spread faster than earlier predicted by experts.
