As we celebrate the 64th year of Nigeria’s independence, the A.A. Zaura Foundation joins the nation in commemorating this historic milestone.

Today, we reflect on the sacrifices of our forefathers who fought tirelessly for our freedom. Their courage and determination have paved the way for the progress we see.   However, as we reflect on our journey, we must also acknowledge the current challenges facing our nation. Nigeria is grappling with a weakening economy, insecurity, and deepening distrust in government institutions. These issues threaten the progress we have made in our democratic development.

To move forward, we must strengthen our national, state, and local security and governance. Improving infrastructure, enhancing service delivery, and fostering economic integration are crucial steps towards leveraging our large market size and achieving sustainable growth as well as reduce the level of poverty in the country.

Let us continue to uphold the values of unity, peace, and progress as we build a brighter future for all Nigerians. Together, we can overcome these challenges and achieve great things.
